Michelle Soares Mendes Is a Western Australian painter who explores the relationship between people, nature and the spaces in between — particularly through coastal scenes, surfer girls, intimate figure studies, and moments of pause and reflection.
Michelle works with simplified shapes, layered colour, and a restrained palette, building compositions that feel both contemporary and timeless. Her work invites the viewer to slow down and enter a space that feels calm, embodied, and quietly alive.
